Print, Scan, & Fax: Send a fax via email

This service is for faculty, staff, and students.

The university now subscribes to eGoldFax for faxing services. You may send a fax via email from any device using your preferred email app.

Send a fax via email

To send a fax via email from your St. Thomas account:

  1. If necessary, scan your document(s) first. You may do so using the PaperCut scanning option available on our campus MFPs.

  2. Access your St. Thomas email account via your preferred email app on your computer or mobile device.

  3. Compose a new message and address it as follows:
    • country code + area code + number@egoldfax.com
      (Example: 16519626282@egoldfax.com)

  4. Attach the document to be faxed to your email message.

  5. In the body of your message, you may include a brief message that will appear on the fax cover page.

Note: Including an email signature with embedded images may cause the fax to fail, so we recommend not using an email signature for the message.

  6. Send your email!

  7. Within a few minutes, you will receive an automated response letting you know if the fax was delivered successfully.
