Apple: UST Mac New User First-time Login

This service is for faculty and staff.

University managed Macs are encrypted to protect University and user data. To unlock the encryption and reach the screen where new users can sign in and create a profile, a trusted account must log in first. This means someone who already has an account on the device needs to be present the first time you log in.

If no one with existing access is available, you’ll need to bring the computer to the Tech Desk walk‑up (see hours and locations here) or submit a request to the Apple Service Team to schedule time to meet with a technician in-person.
