What is Tommie Lake?

Tommie Lake is our centralized source of Primary and Secondary data for any and all data produced and consumed by the University of St. Thomas. This includes enterprise systems, applications, and third-party data stores. Tommie Lake will make St. Thomas data more consistent, accurate, faster and more insightful. It is our living data ecosystem!

What if we do not have a Data Steward or Data Innovator?

The role of a Data Steward is essential to managing data within your product and/or department, and most already have a team-member who regularly works with data or has data skills being utilized who only need to complete training. A team can have unlimited Data Stewards, and we recommend starting with the Data Foundations self-serve training course. Then those interested can continue on to the Data Steward self-serve training course.
