Are are many different kinds of Holds used on Student Accounts. Some will prevent the student from registering, from requesting a transcript, or used as a grade hold. Let's review the different kinds of holds.
How to view your Student Holds:
- Login to Murphy Online
- Find the "Student Registration" card --> Click on the "Student Profile" link
- If you have a hold, there will be a number next to the "Holds:" link in the upper right corner. Click on that link to find more information on that hold
Registration Holds:
- If the Hold is a registration hold, you will see the Processes Affected: Registration.
- In this case, your action will be needed in order to remove the hold. Start with contacting the office that put the hold on your account.
Sensitive Holds:
- If you see a hold that reads "Some holds are sensitive and may not be displayed." This just means the hold is NOT a registration hold and you are good to register.
