Adding Anchor Links to a OneStThomas Page

Learn how to add an anchor link to a OneStThomas page, allowing you to make a hyperlink that takes users directly to a specific section of content.

Access the CMS:

Start by accessing the Content Management System (CMS) of OneStThomas by clicking on your profile icon and selecting "CMS":

Select the "Content" section (far left-hand navigation).  Using the directory view (middle-column), navigate to your site and expand the Pages repository to view all available webpages. Select the page you want to edit to get started:

Add an Anchor Link

Open an available Rich Text Editor and select the Anchor Link button:

In the modal popup window, add a simple anchor id using all lowercase letters and hyphens (no spaces).  

Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)Now you can add that anchor id to the end of any hyperlink to link directly to that section (i.e. anchor id = sample-anchor, the URL will be https://one.stthomas.edu/example-page#sample=anchor).
