Instructions on the use of the audiovisual technology in MSL 242.

MSL 242 AV Instructions 

MSL 242 Button Panel

To turn the system on:

Select the Projector On button on the button panel to turn the projector. Select Smart Boards On to turn the Smart Boards on.

To show the PC or a laptop on the projector and/or Smart Boards:

Select Present Mode. When connecting a laptop to the HDMI cable the AV system will automatically switch from the PC.

To use the Smart Boards in Breakout Mode:

Select Breakout Mode. Users then connect their device to the local HDMI cable at each Smart Board.

To adjust volume:

Use the Volume knob on the button panel to adjust the volume.

To use the Whiteboard on the Smart Boards:

Select the home button on the Smart Board and select Whiteboard.

To turn the system off:

Select Projector Off and Smart Boards Off to turn off the system

Tips and Tricks:

Wait for all Smart Boards to power on before selecting a mode.

If changes are made and a Smart Board is not showing the correct mode or is not turned on you can select the buttons again on the button panel.

Alternatively, users can turn on or off the Smart Boards directly by pressing the power button on the lower left-hand side or change the input by selecting the home button and then choosing the arrow icon. Present Mode is HDMI 1, Breakout Mode is HDMI 2.
