This service is for faculty, staff, and students.
This page explains how to share your St. Thomas Parchment Badges (formerly called Canvas Credentials or Badgr).
What and Why Parchment Badges?
The University of St. Thomas partners with Parchment Badges (a digital credential service provider) so you can share your badges and microcredentials with employers and your professional network.
Each badge is clickable and includes details about the knowledge, skills, or competencies you demonstrated — and confirms your credentials were earned from St. Thomas. Badges can be shared on LinkedIn, Facebook, your email signature, resume, or personal website, and are stored in your Parchment My Badges space.
How to Find My Badges to Share?
Log into your Parchment account using your St. Thomas badge username and password. Or, another way to get to your badges is to log in at Parchment Digital Badges (using the credentials you used to create your St. Thomas badge account) and look for My Badges.

To Share on LinkedIn, Facebook or other Social Media
- These are directions to find and share on Social Media: How do I share my earned badges from my Parchment Digital Badges Backpack?
- The following videos from St. Thomas help describe/show how to share your digital badges on your email signature, on social media such as LinkedIn or Facebook, and how to share your badge URL on your resume or portfolio, for example. Note: The videos sometimes call the badge platform by the old name (Badgr or Canvas Credentials); just think Parchment badges anytime you hear the words Canvas Credential or Badgr; it's the same platform just a new name!
To Print Off a Certificate of Your Achievement
Badge earners have the option to print off a certificate of your achievement instead of or in addition to the digital badge.
