Sharing your digital badges (microcredentials) on your social media accounts, resume, or personal website are great ways to promote your skills and accomplishments. You also may want to share one or more digital badges in your email signature as a way to promote your learning and also promote important concepts you want others to learn about!
Badging: How to Add Your Badge to Outlook Email Signature
Before you begin, make sure that you have your badge saved as an image file from your Badgr account.
- Go to stthomas.badgr.com and select My Badges.
- Locate the badge you wish to share.
- Download the image by right-clicking on the image and selecting save image.
Also before you begin, make sure that you have copied the sharing-link to your badge.
- Click the word "Share" next to your badge.
- Copy the sharing-link where it says "Copy this link to share"
- Open your Outlook web app and click the settings-cog at the top right

Locate your Badge image file, and select "Insert."

Click on the image, then click the icon labeled "Insert link"

Under "Web address (URL), paste the sharing-link to your badge that you copied earlier.

Select "OK"

Select "Save. Your signature line should be saved!

After you complete these steps, send your email to someone and ask them to click on your badge in your email signature and show you what they find. You'll want to make sure that they are able to click on the badge and learn that it belongs to you!
