Email, Distribution Groups, and Calendar

This service is available for faculty, staff, and students

Microsoft Outlook in Office 365 is the university's official solution for email and calendaring. A mailbox is provided to all qualified students, faculty, and staff members upon creation of their St. Thomas account.

With your St. Thomas email account you receive the following:

  • 50 GB mailbox quota
  • Appointment and meeting scheduling
  • Course Schedule automatically added to your student calendar
  • Contacts and list management
  • Task management
  • Oganization-wide distribution groups
  • Shared (departmental) mailboxes
  • Vanity email addresses
  • Security (including MFA)

Getting Started

Access your St. Thomas email from any web browser in Office 365 or from the Outlook app on any campus computer. 

Take your email and calendar on the go by installing Outlook on your personal laptop and mobile devices

Distribution Groups

Did you know?

You can create a Microsoft 365 Group to serve as a distribution group and shared mailbox. This allows you to manage membership yourself. These groups come with SharePoint sites and can be used in Microsoft Teams.

FindTime is an Outlook add-in for scheduling meetings. The organizer can send multiple time options through FindTime and minimize the back and forth emails in scheduling.
