Copy/Paste
How to copy/paste previously made widgets & entire row configurations in the Content Management System (CMS) of OneStThomas.
Widget-level copy/paste
- On the edit screen for a page you may be working on, use your mouse to hover over the specific widget you want to copy. This works on all types of widgets, and are useful when you need to have multiple instances of the same thing, like Rich Text Editors (RTEs) with information or formatting you want to use elsewhere or a commonly used button.

- This puts the copied widget into a virtual clipboard that follows you no matter what page you're editing. You can copy a widget from your homepage and paste it on multiple sub-pages quickly and easily, such as your department's contact information.

Row-level copy/paste
- The same copy/paste function also works for an entire row layout, making entire sections easy to duplicate on any page.

- Note the difference in how to paste a copied row - you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to add it as a new row.

Pro Tip! Use the "Reorder" button to simplify the page view and perform the same functions on a macro view.
