Cell phone network signals may have a limited reach within buildings. If you experience this on campus you can enable Wi-Fi Calling on your mobile device in order to receive calls and messages over the wireless connection.
How to use Wi-Fi Calling
In order to use Wi-Fi Calling features you'll need to ensure the following:
- You have a compatible mobile device. Most Apple iOS and Android devices. Check your phone carrier's website to learn if your device is compatible.
- Your phone carrier must offer the Wi-Fi calling feature. Learn more about how this feature is offered through major phone carriers such as:
- The Wi-Fi calling feature must be activated on your phone plan's individual account.
- Enable the Wi-Fi Calling feature on your device itself. Instructions for this are provided from your phone carrier's website.
