This service is for faculty, staff, and students.
Using a browser like Microsoft Edge allows you to sync your bookmarks to your St. Thomas account.
Sign In To Microsoft Edge Browser
- Using the Menu Bar on your Mac, choose Go > Applications and double-click the Microsoft Edge app
- Click the Profile button in the top right corner of the Microsoft Edge Toolbar, then click the Sign In button
- When prompted, sign in with your St. Thomas email address and password
- On the Sync Your Profile prompt, click the Sync button
- To verify sync is turned on, click the Profile button again. You will now see your St. Thomas Account email address and a Sync Is On green checkmark
Import Bookmarks From Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox
- Using the Menu Bar on your Mac, choose Go > Applications and double-click the Microsoft Edge app
- Click the Favorites button in the top right corner of the Microsoft Edge Toolbar, click the More Options ellipsis button and then choose the Import Favorites option
- In the Import Browser Data prompt, choose Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox from the Import From pull-down menu, then check the box next to the data you would like to import. If you would like only to import your bookmarks, uncheck every option except the Favorites or Bookmarks option, then click the Import button.
- Click the Done button on the All Done! prompt
Import Bookmarks From Safari
- Using the Menu Bar on your Mac, choose Go > Applications and double-click the Safari app
- While in Safari, Select File from the Menu Bar on your Mac, then choose the Export Bookmarks????????????????????? option
- Choose the destination where you would like to save the bookmarks HTML file, then click the Save button
- Using the Menu Bar on your Mac, choose Go > Applications and double-click the Microsoft Edge app
- Click the Favorites button in the top right corner of the Microsoft Edge Toolbar, click the More Options ellipsis button and then choose the Import Favorites option
- In the Import Browser Data prompt, choose Favorites or Bookmarks HTML File from the Import From pull-down menu, keep the box checked for Favorites or Bookmarks, then click the Choose File button
- Choose the Safari Export Bookmarks HTML File saved in step 3, then click the Open button
- ??????Click the Done button on the All Done! prompt
