Add Religious Holidays to your LMS Calendar

You can now add religious holidays to your Canvas calendar with just a few clicks. This is one way for faculty to ensure major assignments and class activities will not conflict with religious observances, and for students of many faiths to ensure their religious observances appear on their personal calendars. Setting this up will carry forward into future years, so you only have to do this once.

Adding Religious Holidays to your Canvas Calendar

1. Log into Canvas.
    
2. In the left-hand navigation menu, click the "Calendar" icon.
   
    
3. The Canvas Calendar appears. 
    
4. On the right side of the window, find "OTHER CALENDARS" and click the "+" icon.
   
    
5. In the "Add Calendar" window that appear, check the box to the left of "University of St. Thomas" and click "Save Changes."
   
    
6. A confirmation will appear at the top of the screen for a few seconds.
   
    
7. The University of St. Thomas religious observance entries will now appear on your Canvas calendar.
