Find the Accessible Files Icon and Alternative Format Menu

Panorama offers many alternative file formats, giving you more control over your own learning.

In your Canvas courses, have you noticed the icon that is a (blue) circle around a (blue) outline of a person?

That is the Universal Digital Accessibility icon that lets you know that you can access your digital files in Canvas in other formats.

  1. Anywhere you find that Universal Digital Accessibility icon (blue circle around a body) next to a file in Canvas, it means you have access to a range of alternative formats for that file, which may help enhance your learning experience.
  2. Click on this icon to access the Alternative Files menu.

  3. From the list, select the alternative format that fits your individual needs and follow the on-screen prompts to download the converted file.
