This service is for faculty, staff, and students.
The Virtual Background feature allows you to display an image or video as your background during a Zoom Meeting. This feature works best with a green screen and uniform lighting, to allow Zoom to detect the difference between you and your background. You can also upload your own images or videos as a virtual background.
How to Add a Virtual Background
- Download the image you want to use as your background and save it to a place that you can access later (You will need it for step 5)
- Once you are in Zoom, Click on the arrow next to Start/Stop video and click Choose Virtual Background

- Click the plus sign (+) in the virtual background section

- In the pop-up click Add Image
- Then navigate to where you saved your image in step 1 and click Open.
- Your virtual background will then be set to the one that you added.
