EHR Go: iPad Assignment Submission Instructions


  1. Make sure your iPad has the latest update.
  2. Create a folder structure in One Drive for your courses/submissions.
  3. Log into EHR Go (if required)


  1. For the best experience, use the web version of Canvas rather than the app and the Safari web browser
  2. Access the EHR Go assignment in Canvas
  3. Review the information under Task
  4. Click on the assigned patient name to access EHR Go


  1. Click on the Launch EHR tab in EHR Go.
    • Click on New Session+
    • Scroll down and click on Notes in the left navigation
    • Click on NEW at the bottom right of the page
  2. In the Note Choice pop up:
    • Select the type of note you have been asked to create (i.e. Head to Toe Physical Assessment)
    • Leave the Date, Author, and Location as the defaults.
    • Click Continue
  3. Scroll down and click on the drop down for the type of assessment (i.e. Breath Sounds Assessment, Cardiovascular)
  4. Complete the assigned note
  5. Click on Save
  6. Click on the orange Close Session button at the top
  7. Click on the Download Work tab
  8. Select the session that you want to download and click the blue Download button
  9. The note will open in a new browser tab and will be named as the patient and the date completed
  10. Click the Share icon at the top of the browser window
  11. Scroll down to Save to Files
  12. Select OneDrive
  13. Select Files
  14. Browse for the folder you set up in your OneDrive and save the PDF there


  1. Return to the Canvas assignment
  2. Click on Start Assignment
  3. Click on the File Upload tab at the bottom of the page
  4. Click on Browse
  5. Navigate to your One Drive folder and attach the saved note (PDF) to the Canvas assignment submission
  6. Check the box to agree to the End-User License Agreement
  7. Click Submit Assignment
