Use the Read Wizard to scan test sheets
- Once you have opened a form template, click the "Read Wizard..." button in the toolbar.
- Click the Read button.
- A "SelfScore Instructions" dialog box appears. Prepare your test sheets for scanning. When ready to proceed with scanning, click OK.
- The following screen is displayed. Perform test scanning on the Scantron as you normally would. Be sure to scan answer sheets first, as indicated by the panel on the scanner.
- If you wait too long, you might see a communications warning. Click "Resume Scan" to resume scanning, as needed. When finished scanning, you may choose "End Scan."
- Push the appropriate buttons on the Scantron to quit the scan job. It will warn you that results will be lost.
- Work with your data in Remark as needed. You can choose "Save As..." to save the data in another format, such as Excel, comma-delimited TXT, or tab-delimited TXT format. Data may also be copied and pasted into another application, such as Excel.
- Log out of the PC when ready.
