Getting Started

Requesting an Account

Before you log in, a license needs to be assigned to your University of St. Thomas email account

Note: Boodlebox uses your official University of St. Thomas email address (e.g., abcd1234@stthomas.edu)

  1. Request an account using the "Click to Request Service" button to the right
  2. Once approved and your ticket has been closed, please allow 2-5 hours for the syncing of accounts to take place

Navigating to Boodlebox

Once your access is approved:

  1. Open your browser and go to https://boodlebox.ai/.
  2. Click Sign In in the top-right corner.
  3. Click on Sign in (top option of the window) to change from the Sign Up window
  4. Select the Sign in with your EDU Account option
  5. In the search box, type and select: University of St. Thomas (Minnesota).
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to sign in:

    • The first time signing in (and periodically in the future) you will be asked to authentic your Canvas account. This is a necessary step in order to secure the link between the accounts.
  7. Select St. Thomas Boodlebox on the "Select Your Workspace" screen

Note: St. Thomas BoodleBox is your space with full unlimited access to all BoodleBox features. Your personal space is a basic (free) plan with limited daily usage

Explore Boodlebox features:

• Upload documents to your Knowledge Bank so the AI can reference them.

• Use Group Chats for collaboration with classmates or colleagues.

• Build custom assistants for courses or projects.

License usage is regularly reviewed to ensure optimal distribution across the university community.

Q: Is my data secure in Boodlebox? A: Yes. Boodlebox maintains strict data privacy standards - all prompts are anonymized, knowledge is encrypted, and the AI models cannot train on your data. Your intellectual property and data remain protected. For detailed information on their security practices, visit the BoodleBox FAQ.

Q: Can I use Boodlebox for research? A: Absolutely! BoodleBox is an excellent tool for literature reviews, data analysis, and exploring research questions. The platform includes features specifically designed for academic research.

Q: How do I get help with Boodlebox? A: For all Boodlebox support needs, including technical issues, account questions, or usage guidance, please use the support and feedback options built into Boodlebox - found by clicking on your account icon in the top right corner of the screen. One of the best ways to get support is by using the "Submit Feedback" button located in the Boodlebox menu. If you continue to have challenges, you can use the "Click to Request Service" button to the right. Our dedicated support team will respond to your inquiry promptly.
