Login and training instructions for new Salesforce Users

How to login to Salesforce

Salesforce works best with the Chrome web browser. Please avoid using Internet Explorer with Salesforce because it frequently experiences slowdowns and errors.

You can find the login links on the Enterprise Apps page within OneStThomas.

  1. Login to the Salesforce.  (If you are a part of University Advancement and Alumni Relations, use this link to login to Salesforce for UDAR).
  2. On the login screen, choose the option to login with adfs. This will redirect you to the standard University of St. Thomas Single Sign-On page.
  3. Enter your University of St. Thomas username and 15 character password to log in.
  4. Verify your login with your multi-factor authentication method (the easiest and most consistent way to do this is by installing the MFA Authenticator app if you have not already set this up for other services).

System Access and Security

Salesforce is a secured system. ITS works to ensure there is a balance between what users need to view in order to be successful in their work and exposing sensitive information that may not be relevant. Therefore, your view may be different from others on your team. If this is preventing you from doing your work please talk to your supervisor about submitting an access upgrade request to Salesforce@stthomas.edu
