Microsoft Project and Visio: How to Acquire for Personally Owned Devices

Home use rights for Microsoft Project and Visio are not included in our Office 365 license.  However, St. Thomas members can purchase discounted licenses for these applications for a nominal cost (<$20.00 as of June 2024).  

How to Acquire Microsoft Project or Visio for Your Personal Device

1. Sign up for the Microsoft 365 Workplace Discount Program using your St. Thomas email address.
2. You will receive an email in your St. Thomas inbox verifying your eligibility for the program which includes a button to Login with Personal Account.  You will need to use a Personal Microsoft account from here on.  If you don't have one, there is a link to create one on the Sign in page.
3. When you've logged in with your Personal Microsoft Account, you will be able to purchase Project Professional or Visio Professional at the discounted cost.  These applications are not immediately visible on the landing page so using the Search function will be necessary.
