Software: Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat - Home Use

This service is for faculty, staff, students, and student workers.

Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat subscriptions that are assigned to specific users can be used on up to two (2) computers at a time which can include a personally owned computer.

For Faculty, Staff & Student Employees:

Employees with a named Adobe Creative Cloud or Acrobat subscription can install and use that software on a home computer.

  1. Visit Adobe.com and sign in with your standard St. Thomas username and password. You can find the directions on how to authenticate using the KB article, "Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat: Signing in."
  2. Choose the little waffle-pattern icon at the top right and select View All Creative Cloud Apps.  This will take you to a page where you can download the Adobe software for which you are licensed.

If you want to install the Creative Cloud applications on your St. Thomas computer, visit our Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat: Getting Started article.

For Students:

Students taking a class that includes an Adobe Creative Cloud Student subscription can install and use that software on a home computer.

  1. Visit Adobe.com and sign in with your standard St. Thomas email address.  If it gives you the option, choose Company or School account, not Personal.
  2. Choose the little waffle-pattern icon at the top right and select View All Creative Cloud Apps.  This will take you to a page where you can download the Adobe software for which you are licensed.
  3. This subscription will only be active during the semester your course takes place in.

What happens if I accidentally log in to more than one computer to use Adobe applications?

Adobe is watching out for that.  When you try to use Adobe applications on a third computer with your standard St. Thomas email address and password, the software will give you the option to automatically log out of the first two computers.  You will be able to log back into those computers at a later time.
