St. Thomas provides 1TB of OneDrive file storage within the Office 365 suite of apps and tools. OneDrive makes it easy to save files to the cloud, share them, and access them from any device.
Please be aware that the contents of your OneDrive is tied to your account. Files and data that is owned by a group or department should be stored on a SharePoint site or Team.

Microsoft's website put together a great article on how to upload and save files or folders to OneDrive that includes instructions from your web browser, your desktop, or directly from other Office 365 apps (eg. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Learn what the OneDrive icons mean so that you know if your file successfully synced to the cloud, which files are new, and more.
Share files in OneDrive
OneDrive gives you a variety of options and control over how you share files from your account. Including:
- Share to anyone with the link (Note: to protect the data within your files, this link will expire after 30 days).
- Share with all people in the University of St. Thomas who have the link
- Share to people with existing access
- Share with specific people
