ITS develops and manages many web applications that provide various features, enhance and are used by the university website and often use Enterprise data.The applications listed below are only some of the more highly used and user facing ones.

ClassFinder

ClassFinder is a public search engine for university classes. This easy-to-use search is a robust tool for students to find and filter courses that meet a variety of criteria.

St. Thomas Directory

The Directory is a public tool that lists departmental directory information (phone, email, location, etc.), student groups, important university websites (the Academic Calendar, Policy Repository, etc.), basic contact information for staff (email, department, etc.), and mailbox numbers for students. The data is pulled from a variety of sources and, through its API is used as the source of truth by several other university applications.

Interactive Campus Map

The Interactive Campus Map is a web-based map tool used to provide students, faculty, and visitors with information regarding the St. Thomas campuses including:

  • Hours
  • Building images
  • Events
  • Departments locations
  • Notices
  • Metro Transit information
  • Parking information
  • Emergency telephone locations
  • Directions to and from on-campus and off-campus locations.

The St. Thomas Poster App allows students, faculty, and staff to advertise upcoming events, courses, and other relevant content on digital displays across campus.

Campus Shuttle Tracker

The Campus Shuttle Tracker is a web-based map tool used to track the campus shuttles traveling between the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. It provide the community with real-time information regarding the estimated time of arrival for the shuttle.
