This service is available for faculty and staff.
Faculty and staff are able to reserve laptops, projectors, DVD drives, and other devices for off-campus and short term use through the ITS equipment checkout process. Students are restricted from using this service, however students may be granted access to equipment if a faculty or staff member is willing to reserve and take responsibility for the equipment and pick it up.

Getting Started
You may check out equipment for up to 2 weeks. A 3 business day notice is required for check out equipment requests. Use the request service form to get started.
To support Faculty and Staff who periodically require extra computers or other technology equipment in their work, ITS manages a number of checkout devices, mostly laptops and projectors. Other equipment is available to be used in classrooms and event spaces on request, as well.
All requests for checkout equipment will be reviewed by ITS before being approved. You will be notified if your request is accepted or declined. Equipment may not be checked out for more than 2 weeks (10 business days) at at time.
- All items checked out on the St. Paul Campus may be picked up and returned to our service desk located on the first floor of the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library at the Reference and Tech desk.
- All items checked out on the Minneapolis Campus may be picked up and returned to our service desk located on the 3rd floor of Schulze Hall, room 300.
Please make all requests for checkout equipment at a minimum of 72 hours before your intended use date.
