Poll Everywhere
Poll Everywhere is a web-based technology that allows students to respond to class polls via text messages and a web interface.
Unlike TurningPoint where students must buy a "clicker", Poll Everywhere is available from any device that students already have. By using their cell phones, smart phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, or any other web-enabled device students are able to participate in a new interactive way during class. Poll Everywhere promises to make classes and other events "more fun, productive, and engaging" by collecting questions and feedback from participants in real-time... and at no additional expense to them.

Getting Started
Before continuing, please review the Poll Everywhere: Getting Started knowledge base article for essential information and guidance on the type of license you might require.
ITS manually creates accounts for faculty. If you need a large group of respondents (up to 300) or need to be grading your activities in Canvas use the request form to request an account. You'll receive an email invitation to set up a St. Thomas-based Poll Everywhere account.
