Using SchedulePoll for Outlook Calendar Meetings

This service is for faculty, staff, and students.

SchedulePoll is an Outlook add-in for scheduling meetings. The organizer can send multiple time options through SchedulePoll and minimize the back and forth emails in scheduling. It's installed on St. Thomas Outlook (web and desktop, Mac and Windows) by default, and can make scheduling large meetings much easier.

How it Works

SchedulePoll uses free/busy data to show what days and times work the best for you and attendees. Propose your selected times to all attendees and allow everyone to vote and quickly come to a consensus. After attendees vote, SchedulePoll automatically schedules the meeting at the best time on your behalf.

Attendees do NOT need to have Outlook, Office 365, or the SchedulePoll app. This means SchedulePoll is a great tool for scheduling meetings with external contacts, whose free/busy information you can't see anyway. Even with internal contacts, SchedulePoll can be useful for scheduling with large groups when people are busy or have their calendars blocked for work time.
