Learning Management Systems (Canvas)

This service is available for faculty and staff.

Canvas is a cloud-based learning management system that allows St. Thomas instructors to deliver digital course content to students for online access (e.g., course readings, syllabi, assignments, videos, etc.), create learning activities and assessments, and enables students to track and submit assignments and view grades. Course sites are created automatically from the university's Banner system for all degree courses scheduled, and additional sites may be requested to support nondegree and community support needs.

ITS partnered with Canvas to offer you 24/7 dedicated support for your course-related questions.
